, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while supporting security-related procedures. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to assist with daily tasks.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and/or employees at the front desk in a professional manner.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding security-related concerns or incidents.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from visitors and employees at the front desk.

• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
