Class B Truck Driver

Trillium drivers is now seeking to hire temp-to-perm CDL Class B Drivers (Flat-Bed Truck) for a client located in Hicksville, NY – Long Island!

Driver will be responsible for delivering client products safely and efficiently to customers and warehouses operating a 10-speed manual transmission flatbed truck. Limited touch freight but will be required to strap & un-strap large porcelain countertops multiple times per day. This position requires driver to work independently while receiving instruction from Supervisors, Dispatchers, Warehouse Managers, and in some cases Transportation Managers.

Driver must be physically able to perform duties.

Driver(s) will be responsible for deliveries in local Long Island, Bronx, Queens, CT and NY State locations. Ideal driver must be familiar with operating flatbed in busy/narrow city streets. Deliveries are tracked and monitored on a tablet.

• 2+ years of experience driving with a Class B Driver’s License
• Experience & proficiency with DOT Cargo Securement/Load Regulations
• Clean Driving Record
• 10-speed manual transmission a MUST!!
• Flatbed truck experience
• Must be able to pass random drug screens
• Air Brake Endorsement
