Operations Specialist - Diversion Coordinator

Pay: $19-$21 per hour

We are hiring an Operations Specialist - Diversion Coordinator to help turn incoming furniture, household goods, and other reusable materials into resale, donation, and recycling opportunities. This hands-on, warehouse-based role helps keep useful items out of landfills, reduce disposal costs, and grow our ReMix resale operation.

If you enjoy organizing a busy warehouse, spotting value in secondhand items, and getting things done, we would like to meet you. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.

• Sort incoming items for resale, donation, recycling, reuse, or disposal.
• Identify valuable items, research prices, and help recover value through approved resale channels.
• Photograph and list items, organize inventory, and track item status.
• Coordinate buyer communication, customer pickups, and warehouse sales.
• Keep the ReMix area and donation, recycling, metal, and disposal zones clean, safe, labeled, and organized.
• Improve material flow and support warehouse logistics and day-to-day operations.
• Help field teams identify reusable and recyclable items and support new recovery opportunities.

• Organized, dependable, self-motivated, and attentive to detail.
• Comfortable with hands-on warehouse work, including regularly moving and lifting items safely, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.
• Clear communication and strong customer service skills.
• Interest in resale, reuse, recycling, and sustainability.
• Warehouse, resale, thrift, retail, auction, moving, junk removal, recycling, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to drive preferred but not required.

• $19-$21 per hour.
