Are you an organised and friendly administrator who loves providing excellent customer service and enjoys being the first point of contact for clients?
We are recruiting an Office Administrator to join a well-established and professional organisation based in New Mills. This Office Administrator role is varied, combining reception, administration and client care, and would suit someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in keeping an office running smoothly.
What will you be doing as an Office Administrator?
Answering and directing incoming telephone calls and taking messages
Welcoming clients and visitors and providing a professional first impression
Booking appointments and assisting with diary management
Dealing with straightforward client and third-party enquiries
Providing refreshments and ensuring reception and meeting rooms are kept presentable
Receiving, sorting and sending post and courier deliveries
Audio and copy typing, document formatting and general document preparation
Maintaining accurate records on the organisation's case management system
Photocopying, scanning and electronic filing
Managing stationery, office supplies, refreshments and general purchasing
Maintaining records relating to archived files and important documents
Providing general administrative support to Partners, fee earners and the wider team
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in Office Administration, Administration, Reception, Customer Service or Office Support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A confident and professional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Proactive, reliable and able to use your own initiative
Friendly, approachable and professional
Previous experience within a legal, professional services or client-facing environment would be advantageous
Experience using a case management system or similar software would be desirable
Audio typing or document production experience would be a bonus
Business Administration qualifications would be advantageous

Competitive salary of up to £30,000, depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm - NO weekends!
