Transport Coordinator

M4 Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics and shipping company for a Transport Co-ordinator to join their Belfast branch in Nutts Corner, Crumlin . Salary:
Around £30,000 per annum , depending on experience

Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Contract:

Permanent

The Role Working closely with the General Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day transport and import activities, ensuring shipments are managed efficiently and customer requirements are met.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating UK import and export activities Preparing transport, customs and export documentation Completing Dangerous Goods Notifications where required Managing Proof of Delivery scanning and logistics records Liaising with transport companies and customers Maintaining accurate systems, files, costing and invoicing Preparing and monitoring KPIs Identifying and escalating issues that may impact deadlines Providing excellent customer service and supporting general transport operations About You Ideally, you will have:
At least 12 months' experience in a groupage/shipping transport environment Knowledge of export and customs procedures (desirable)

Experience with Dangerous Goods documentation (desirable) Strong organisational and planning skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Good IT/computer literacy A proactive, team-focused approach A full clean driving licence and own transport Interested?
