Service Advisor – Tesla
Move into an integral role supporting Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. This position engages customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service while building technical expertise in electric vehicle maintenance and repair.
What You’ll Do- Provide outstanding customer service, promptly addressing inquiries, taking ownership of service visits, and creating a welcoming environment.
- Assess technical issues, explain service needs to customers in clear, understandable terms, and offer telephone solutions when possible.
- Actively listen to customer concerns, ask clarifying questions, identify issues accurately, and, when necessary, elevate matters to the Service Manager.
- Communicate effectively with Technicians and accurately document service details in the Dealer Management System.
- Conduct transactions, guide customers through corrections, and summarize repair work performed.
- Manage multiple appointments and priorities, maintain organized records, provide prompt status updates, and ensure thorough follow‑up.
- Build trust by providing empathetic service, handling complex issues with patience, and creating positive experiences that drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods, familiar with tools, materials, and techniques.
- Strong communication skills to provide precise estimates, status updates, and technical information in an understandable manner.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities for troubleshooting and developing timely solutions collaboratively with the service team.
- Patience and empathy when handling complex vehicle issues or challenging customer situations.
- Superior time‑management and organizational skills to maintain accurate service records and meet business‑critical deadlines.
- Proficiency in Dealer Management System(s), Outlook, and MS Office with a proactive willingness to learn emerging automotive technologies.
- Valid driver’s license.
