Periodontal Dental Assistant | Triad Perio, High Point | Perio experience required
A surgical perio assisting role focused on implants, grafting, and periodontal surgery, including sedation cases.
Our practice has two periodontists:
Dr. Karen Lanier, practicing for more than 20 years, and Dr. Omar Glover, who completed his periodontal residency alongside a Ph.D. in oral biology.
What You'll Do
- Assist with implant, grafting, and periodontal surgical procedures
- Prepare and support patients before, during, and after procedures, including sedation cases
- Take digital radiographs
- Set up and break down surgical operatories and maintain sterile technique
- Review post-op instructions with patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their care
What You'll Bring
- Periodontal assisting experience (required)
- Confidence with surgical setups, sterile field, and instrument handling
- Calm, clear communication with patients who may be anxious about surgery
- Professionalism and a team-first approach
