We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a highly regarded group practice opportunity in the Greensboro/High Point/Winston Salem area. Our broad primary‑care referral base allows us to focus exclusively on consultative and procedural gastroenterology. We have excellent referral relationships within a collegial medical community, providing professional stability and strong profitability.
Outpatient procedures are performed primarily at the accredited Endoscopy Center, which features four first‑class procedure rooms and top‑of‑the‑line equipment, including ERBE coagulators and Olympus 190‑series scopes. Inpatient consults and procedures on hospitalized patients are handled at the two health‑system hospitals located within a five‑minute drive.
The ideal candidate will be a people person with advanced endoscopic skills preferred, but not required. Excellent communication, teamwork, a solid work ethic, and a strong service orientation toward patients and referring physicians are essential.
We offer a competitive initial guaranteed salary during the non‑shareholder period, plus a productivity bonus. Equal shareholdership for the gastrointestinal office is available after two fiscal years, with a productivity‑based distribution formula. Gastroenterology call follows a 1‑in‑6 rotation.
The practice serves a population exceeding one million, within a two‑hour radius of the mountains and three hours of the Atlantic beaches. Residents enjoy a four‑season climate and a vibrant arts, education, and recreation scene, including four universities, the Eastern Music Festival, extensive parks, schools, faith organizations, and a regional shopping and convention center.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor, with or without US residency.
