Overview
At Future Care Renalis, our Patient Transporters ensure our patients are transported to/from the dialysis center and perform basic health care services. Our Dialisys will work under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities
- Transport patients and clients in a safe and professional manner
- Assist patients and clients as needed to ensure safe transfer
- Effectively communicate with the Charge Nurse regarding scheduled progress and the ability to receive and perform additional duties/instructions
- Ensure Dialysis recliners are properly disinfected between clients and returned to the Dialysis Suite at end of shift
- Comfort patients and their family members by offering support and encouragement
- Stock supplies daily and help with inventory
- Assist with lab labeling
- Complete MOLST communication book forms in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a healthcare setting
- GNA certification needed
- Must have a current CPR/BLS certification
- Must be comfortable working with the geriatric population
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-centered environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Must be able to work as scheduled
