Homemaker (Cook & Housekeeper)
Pennybyrn has immediate opportunities for Homemakers, both full‑time and part‑time. Available shifts are 6:30 am‑2:00 pm OR 10:30 am‑7:00 pm, including every other weekend. Weekend differentials are an additional $1.00 per hour. There is also a Lead Homemaker opportunity with full‑time hours and supervisory responsibilities.
The Homemaker performs a combination of cook and housekeeper duties for 20 senior adults living in a long‑term care household. As a cook, you will prepare delicious food and snacks from custom recipes with high quality standards. As a housekeeper, you will maintain cleanliness and neatness of the kitchen, living areas, resident bedrooms, and restrooms. This is an incredibly rewarding position that enables relationship building with residents and the ability to provide hands‑on compassionate care.
A Serve‑Safe certification will be required, with training and testing on the Pennybyrn campus.

Must have the knowledge and ability to work with senior residents. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and members of regulatory agencies. Ability to collaborate and manage conflict. Ability to work well with others.
