Human Resources Generalist

We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist who enjoys the full breadth of HR and thrives in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, self-motivated HR professional who can manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships with employees, and take ownership of responsibilities from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working with a diverse, blue-collar workforce and can adjust their communication style to meet employees where they are. You should be approachable and personable while also being organized, dependable, and confident enough to work independently after receiving direction.

This is a great fit for an HR professional who genuinely enjoys being a true generalist and doesn't want to be limited to one area of HR. You'll have the opportunity to make an impact across recruiting, employee relations, leave administration, HR operations, and employee support while working closely with both employees and leadership.

• Manage a broad range of day-to-day HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration
• Administer employee leaves and related processes, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing timely and accurate answers to HR questions
• Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion, integrity, and sound judgment
• Support recruiting efforts and help ensure a positive employee experience from hiring through employment
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation with a high level of attention to detail
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Partner with employees across varying levels of technical experience and communication styles
• Help drive HR initiatives while remaining collaborative and receptive to direction
• Utilize HRIS and other systems to maintain accurate information and support HR processes

• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
• Hands-on experience with FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation
• Recruiting and employee relations experience
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Self-starter who can take ownership and "run with it" after receiving direction
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt communication style to different employees, personalities, and situations
• Strong integrity, ethics, and discretion when handling confidential HR matters
• Reliable attendance and a strong sense of accountability
• Comfortable working with a hands‑on, blue‑collar employee population

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
• Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills
• Manufacturing or other blue-collar industry experience
• ADP Workforce Now experience
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required for candidates with significant relevant HR Generalist experience and appropriate HR certification.
