• Research, order, and maintain necessary supplies to support assigned work and projects.
• Use basic mechanics’ tools such as wrenches, ratchets, sockets, hack saw, tape measure, and screwdriver.
• Perform basic operations of major pieces of plant equipment.
• Use basic mechanical skills to identify and correct minor mechanical issues with equipment.
• Perform stick welding and use cutting torch.
• Understand and interpret basic drawings or sketches.
• Use basic electrical troubleshooting skills to identify and correct minor electrical issues with equipment.
• Use a voltmeter to perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Understand the basic principles of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Understand basic lubrication principles.
• Understand and operate electric and LPG/Gas forklifts.
• Correctly complete work order forms.
• Correctly complete inventory forms.
• Follow 5S and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Ability to read measuring devices.
• A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use job-appropriate tools.
• Proficiency in investigating, deducing, and recommending corrective actions for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade or technical school training preferred.
