What You Will Do
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse production team through coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Create work schedules, assign tasks, and adjust resources to meet production demands.
  • Monitor workflow and collaborate across departments to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of products, with a focus on quality and customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and 5S principles.
  • Champion workplace safety, compliance, and employee well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, manage inventory, and use ERP/MRP systems to track progress and resources.
What You Bring
  • Experience:

    3-5 years of supervisory experience in industrial sewing, assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Leadership

    Skills:

    Proven ability to inspire, guide, and manage a diverse workforce.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, ISO standards (VDA knowledge a plus), and 2+ years of experience using production planning systems (ERP/MRP).
  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical and organizational skills with a track record of improving processes and resolving challenges.
  • Communication:
    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
  • Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Forklift certification or experience (training provided if needed).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills to support a diverse workforce.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
