Maintenance Technician

Ambassador Personnel is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point, NC area. This is a direct hire opportunity with benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, and 401k.

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will conduct preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance to production equipment and the facility. The ideal Maintenance Technician will have experience in a multi-craft, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdowns. Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces worn parts, motors, control devices, etc.
• Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, and makes required parts when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, PLCs, wiring, controls, HVAC, etc. up to 480v.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required:
  Additionally, trade school, vocational school, or technical degree, or equivalent military training, or at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for vocational/technical training, or successful completion of the AIB "Science of Baking" correspondence course.
• 3-5 years in a multi-craft manufacturing environment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
