Construction Partners and its family of operating companies build and maintain the roads, highways, and infrastructure that communities across the Sunbelt depend on every day. Behind every project are crews, plants, and people with stories worth telling, and we are looking for someone who can tell them well.
The Social Media Lead is a creative, hands-on role for someone who loves social media and knows how to turn strong photography and video into content people genuinely want to engage with. You'll own social media across our growing family of operating companies, shaping the strategy and much of the creative that brings it to life. You'll also carry our stories onto the web through news articles and blog posts, working closely with the Visual Content Lead, the Creative Manager, and leaders across the company to find the people and projects worth celebrating.
With the organization to keep many brands moving at once and the writing ability to give each one its own voice, you'll set the standard for how Construction Partners and our family of companies tell their stories.
- Own social media strategy and content calendars across every brand and platform, stay current on platform trends, and develop content pillars, recurring series, and campaigns that support recruiting, brand awareness, and company milestones.
- Create platform-native content from concept through publication, turning field photography and video into carousels, branded graphics, Stories, recruitment creative, and simple motion assets.
- Edit short-form video from existing footage and capture quick photo and video on a phone or camera when a timely moment calls for it.
- Write captions, headlines, and calls to action that sound human and connect with employees, candidates, customers, and communities.
- Develop news articles, blog posts, and project updates for each company's website.
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns.
- Track analytics and monitor engagement across every brand, turning performance insights into clear recommendations for future content and campaigns.
- Serve as the go-to social media partner across the family of companies, working with employees and leaders to find the projects, people, and stories worth sharing and translating technical work into clear, engaging content.
- Travel occasionally to capture content, conduct interviews, and support company events.
- Four or more years of experience in social media, digital content, or a related role, with multi-brand or agency experience strongly preferred.
- A portfolio showing social media content, graphics, and writing samples. Short-form video is a plus.
- Strong eye for layout, typography, image selection, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro, strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong writer, editor, and interviewer with good judgment about voice, tone, and accuracy.
- Experience with paid social platforms and performance reporting.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage many brands and deadlines at once.
- Personable and proactive, comfortable working with employees and leaders at every level and location.
- Creative, self-motivated, and genuinely passionate about social media.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Experience in a construction or industrial organization preferred.
