The Critical Care Division at High Point Medical Center consists of the Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiac Stepdown units.
Medical Intensive Care Unit – a 20‑bed unit providing advanced critical care;
Cardiac Care Unit – an 8‑bed cardiac‑focused ICU;
Cardiac Telemetry – an 18‑bed intermediate care unit focused on cardiac patients.
Please note: you will not rotate to each unit; recruitment will screen you based on your interest. Cardiac Telemetry is the only unit offering a sign‑on bonus for new graduates.
- Less than 1 year of RN experience
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills, you will lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
