Pay Range: $34.90 - $52.35
- Unit: Our Emergency Department provides comprehensive care for all ages, including stroke and heart services. The facility features 34 acute beds, 6 Super Track beds, and 4 Behavioral Health beds. Although it offers a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere with personalized care and easy navigation, it provides advanced resources typically found in larger hospitals. As a designated stroke center, it manages most stroke cases on-site, while myocardial infarctions are treated with our interventional cardiology services.
Smaller hospitals often need to transfer these patients, but we offer the specialized care they need right here. - Facility: With over a century of community service, High Point Medical Center offers a comprehensive range of specialized care across 352 licensed beds, including centers for cancer, joint replacement, heart and vascular, and more, serving over 600,000 people.
- ED Academy: This 24-week academy integrates didactic instruction, clinical experience, and simulations to master emergency care for adult and pediatric patients.
- Nurse Residency Program: New Graduate RNs receive supportive training with clinical orientation, specialty learning, and skill-building in clinical decision-making, teamwork, communication, and career development.

The New Graduate Nurse provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). They lead and direct other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice.
What You’ll Need- Less than 6 months of RN experience
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
- Registered Nurse licensure from the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
