Client Relationship Manager
This role provides timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and thorough handling of all assigned monies. It involves delivering superior quality service, identifying and understanding clients’ financial needs, and being cross‑trained to support sales and service activities with a focus on outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.
Responsibilities- Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients warmly, facilitating courteous conversation, and conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering client needs.
- Educate clients on digital, self‑service solutions including ATMs, online and mobile banking to enhance their service experience.
- Support the team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities by fulfilling the need or referring the client to the appropriate branch team members or specialists.
- Understand the importance of IRM to ensure seamless delivery of Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ unique needs.
- Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
- Commit to advancing individual and product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients by attending sales, service and product knowledge meetings and all applicable training classes and web‑based learning.
- Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies, staying informed of changes to ensure compliance.
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services to clients and prospects, handling a proportional volume of work based on branch demands.
- Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
- Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
- Ability to multi‑task under time constraints.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignments or locale changes.
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included.
- Preferred Qualifications
- One year of client relationship building or sales experience.
- Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention.
- Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
- General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures.
