Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Pipe fitters to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina.

* Schedule:

** 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

** 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263
** Responsibilities:
*** Install industrial piping systems: chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water
* Read blueprints and submittals
* Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines
* Work independently and problem solve
* Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping
* Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision
* Practice all safety procedures
* Hold license to operate equipment necessary for the role
** Education Requirements/

Qualifications:

*** Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
* Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
* Rigging knowledge preferred
* 5 years pipefitter experience preferred
* Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods
* Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions
* General knowledge of code requirements and limitations
* Knowledge of occupational hazards, including ladders

Skills:

*** Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish
* Ownership of pipefitter hand tools
* Ability to work independently and on a team
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
* Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
* Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
