Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Carpenters to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. This position is available on both first and second shifts.

*** 1st

Shift: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary
* 2nd

Shift: 4:00pm-2:30am with OT as necessary

** 623 McWay Dr, High Point, NC 27263
** Responsibilities:
*** Install architectural doors, walls, and trim
* Handle material
* Use power tools (e.g. circular saw, drill, reciprocating saw, etc.)
* Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
* Work in a fast-paced team environment
** Education Requirements/

Qualifications:

*** Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
* Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
* At least one year experience in wood or metal carpentry
* Construction experience preferred
** Job Requirements/Special

Skills:

*** Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish required
* Ability to read a tape measure, blueprints, and layouts
* Ability to work independently and on a team
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
* Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
* Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
