Crane​/Boom Truck Operator

This is a full-time, on-site Crane / Boom Truck Operator role located in High Point, NC. The Crane / Boom Truck Operator will safely operate crane and boom truck equipment to lift, move, and position roofing materials on commercial job sites. Responsibilities include driving and maneuvering trucks to and from job locations, setting up and inspecting equipment, and assisting with loading and unloading materials.

The role also involves following all safety protocols, adhering to DOT regulations, performing basic equipment maintenance checks, and collaborating with roofing crews to ensure efficient workflow. The operator is expected to maintain accurate logs and communicate clearly with site supervisors and team members throughout each project.

• Commercial driving skills, including CDL Class A and experience with truck driving and operating a boom truck.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe operational practices for commercial vehicles and lifting equipment.
• Experience with loading and unloading heavy materials, including safe rigging and material handling techniques.
• Ability to perform basic inspections and maintenance checks on trucks and crane/boom equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety, situational awareness, and following company and site safety procedures.
• Reliable attendance, ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and capability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with roofing crews and site supervisors.
• Previous experience in construction or commercial roofing environments is preferred.
