Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Pipe Fitters for a commercial project in High Point, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are newly out of trade school or have at least 3 years of experience in pipe fitting. A certification is preferred but not required — the key is a strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn and perform safely on the job.
Work Scope Includes:
- Assisting with layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling pipe
- Installing pipe systems, supports, and hangers
- Working with carbon steel, copper, or PVC (depending on site needs)
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Following all site safety procedures
Requirements:
- Trade school graduates or minimum 3 years of experience in pipe fitting
- Certifications are a plus but not required
- Must have own hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Must be able to take direction and work well with others
- Reliable transportation required
- Background check and drug test required before start
