Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Licensed Electrician to join our maintenance and operations team. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with industrial electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, and preventive maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems
• Install and maintain motors, VFDs, control panels, sensors, and conveyors
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards
• Support equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and new installations
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to maximize efficiency

Qualifications

• Electrician License
• 3+ years of industrial electrical experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Strong knowledge of:
• • PLC troubleshooting
  • Motor controls
  • VFDs
  • Electrical distribution systems
  • Industrial automation
  • HVAC Units
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work overtime and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed

Preferred Experience

• Experience in printing, transit fare media, or industrial production environments
• Familiarity with RFID, magnetic stripe, or automated production equipment
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in industrial environments
• Comfortable working around machinery and electrical systems
