Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and motivated Software Developer to join our Engineering team. Under the guidance of the Design Engineering Manager, this role bridges industrial automation and software development, supporting both new product development and internal tool creation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development and an interest in working with a diverse range of technologies, including PLCs, SAP Variant Configuration (VC), workflow automation, C# applications, and embedded C for custom hardware.

- Develop and maintain PLC programs for industrial control systems using ABB controls.
- Create and support SAP VC models, SAP scripts, and configuration logic for product customization.
- Automate engineering workflows using AutoCAD Lisp and Inventor iLogic.
- Design and maintain internal engineering tools using C# and .NET.
- Support embedded software development in C for proprietary hardware.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure software solutions meet product and business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both legacy and new systems.
- Document software design, testing, and validation processes.
- Additional related duties as assigned.
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: PLC programming, C#, C, Lisp, SAP VC/Scripting.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, industrial control systems, and VFDs is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills in documenting design, testing, and validation processes.
- Willing to travel up to 5%.
