Inventory Control Clerk I (High Point, NC)

Join the Mohawk Industries team as an Inventory Control Clerk I. This role focuses on monitoring and managing inventory of all flooring products and accessories in the assigned warehouse.

• Monitor and track inventory of all flooring products and accessories in the assigned warehouse
• Perform cycle counts on flooring products according to the assigned schedule
• Conduct searches to locate products within the internal business system, adjust records for discrepancies, and implement corrective measures
• Assist in processing and inspecting returns, lost & found inventory, and damage inventory
• Maintain necessary reports and documentation, including audit records, counts, and adjustments, and issue invoices and customer records
• Operate forklift, cherry picker, and reach truck safely and efficiently
• Assist other warehouse personnel with their responsibilities, such as operating lift trucks or loading delivery trucks
• Attend job-related training as directed by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures and perform general housekeeping duties
• Execute any other tasks assigned by management

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1‑2 years of related experience preferred
• Forklift driving experience, ability to pass Mohawk Lift Truck Certification
• Safety conscious, dependable and able to work independently
• Excellent computer skills
• Must be able to report discrepancies to management immediately
• May be responsible for adjusting inventory with proper management approvals
