About the Job

This Assistant Accountant role will support the European Accountant with a strong focus on the French entities. The role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of financial records and supporting routine accounting operations.

Duties will include:
  • Assisting with day-to-day finance operations relating to French accounts
  • Supporting month-end processes and reconciliations
  • Ensuring accurate and timely data entry into financial systems
  • Liaising with colleagues across European departments to resolve queries
  • Maintaining internal controls and supporting audit processes
  • Supporting general finance administration and reporting tasks
About the Successful Applicant

You will have 2-3 years’ experience in a finance support role, strong attention to detail, and be highly organised with excellent time management. Fluency in both English and French is essential. While no formal accountancy qualification is required, a process-driven mindset and a proactive approach to learning are key.
