JOB TITLE:Junior Management Accountant ABOUT
THE ROLE
This role supports the monthly accounting process, including posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany alignment, while ensuring accurate reporting into the group systems. It also contributes to FP&A by supporting revenue and margin reporting and delivering data-led insights for operational projects. Additional responsibilities include audit support, maintaining the Business Central system, and daily cash posting.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FORAll employees are expected to contribute and participate in work activities in line with our management system to ensure the continual improvement of our business.
Monthly Mgmt Accounts- Support revenue / cost of sale accounting entries
- Align intercompany positions with wider group entities
- Month-end Opex journal entries, accruals & prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliation and review
- Monthly load of group reporting tool (Onestream) - inc. detailed supporting schedules
- Support Revenue/Margin reporting & transformation initiatives
- Maintain CAPEX Tracker & work alongside operational project owners
- Provide data-driven analysis to operational owners supporting strategic projects
- Audit & Statutory support
- Daily cash posting
- Business Central Maintenance & Support
- Understanding of accounting principles and core control mechanisms
- Ability to support commercial analysis, including contract reviews and profitability insights.
- Solid Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, modelling).
- Experience with ERP systems;
Business Central experience preferred. - Analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear insights.
- Excellent communication skills, able to follow direction and interact with operational counterparts.
- Exposure to intercompany or multi-entity accounting.
- Audit or statutory account preparation support experience.
- Experience with financial process improvement or transformation initiatives.
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or willingness to grow
