Management Accountant

We're delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing business to recruit a Management Accountant to join their close-knit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, working closely with the leadership team and being involved in all aspects of the finance function.

This role would suit a hands‑on Management Accountant, Finance Manager or Senior Accounts professional who enjoys operating across the full finance function and taking responsibility for month‑end reporting, financial controls and day‑to‑day accounting activities.

• Ownership of the monthly management accounts process
• Preparation of month‑end journals, accruals and prepayments
• Full balance sheet reconciliations
• Production of monthly management reports and financial analysis
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Cash flow monitoring and reporting
• Management of supplier payments and accounts payable activities
• Bank reconciliations and treasury administration
• VAT returns and financial compliance activities
• Supporting year‑end processes and liaising with external accountants
• Maintaining and improving financial controls and reporting processes
• Providing financial insight to support business decision making
• Acting as the day‑to‑day finance lead across the business

• Previous experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Company Accountant or similar
• Experience running month‑end processes independently
• Experience supporting or leading year‑end activities
• Strong management accounting and reporting skills
• Excellent reconciliation and analytical abilities
• Experience managing multiple aspects of a finance function
• Experience using Sage 50 or similar accounting software
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
