Full time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm A new opportunity is available within a growing Accountancy Practice in High Wycombe. Due to continued growth, this practice are hiring for an experienced Accountant, who is capable of hitting the ground running, providing detailed and excellent services within a varied portfolio of clients This role is crucial to the practice, as they continue to take on more clients, they require a trusted Bookkeeper, to maintain the levels of excellence they have consistently set.

Job Responsibilities Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a diverse portfolio of clients. Process sales and purchase invoices, bank transactions, journals, and reconciliations. Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping tasks within agreed deadlines. Prepare management accounts and financial reports as required. Perform bank, VAT, and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist clients with bookkeeping queries and provide practical financial guidance. Process VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Maintain accurate records using cloud-based accounting software. Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders in a professional manner. Identify discrepancies and resolve bookkeeping issues efficiently. Support accountants with year-end accounts preparation and audit requirements.
