Following a highly successful start to 2026, our client, a leading supplier of C-Parts to such sectors as aerospace, defence, automotive, oil and gas, is seeking a Lead Buyer looking for the opportunity to develop their career within a growing and ambitous business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sourcing/purchasing background in a C-Part environment, preferably focused on regulated industries such as aerospace, defence, automotive, oil & gas.

• Dealing with RFQ's in a timely manner and collating tenders for the sales team.
• Providing solutions through knowledge of industry and C-Part supply chain.
• Working closely with Quality, Sales and Operations to support new products introduction sourcing activities.
• Deliver cost reduction activities through global sourcing and alternative materials.
• Support customer and certification audits (ISO 9001 and EN 9120)
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships and drive sustainability initiatives.

• Technically & commercially astute - strong pedigree with C-Parts.
• Excellent communication skills, verbally & written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to work well within time sensitive situations.
