A warm and welcoming primary school in Flackwell Heath is seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Practitioner to join their Early Years team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and is committed to supporting the development of young learners during their foundational years.

The school places a strong emphasis on child-centred learning, creativity, and emotional wellbeing. As an EYFS Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging activities, supporting early development, and fostering a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the planning and delivery of high-quality EYFS provision in line with the Early Years Framework
Lead small group and 1:1 activities to promote language, social, and motor skills development
Observe and assess children’s progress, contributing to learning journals and reports
Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning space that encourages curiosity and independence
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure each child’s needs are met
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through nurturing interactions
Ideal Candidate:

Relevant EYFS qualification (Level 3 or above) or equivalent experience in an Early Years setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
Excellent communication, creativity, and organisational skills
A caring and patient approach, with a genuine passion for early years education
Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development
