Part-Time Year 5 Primary Teacher

A lovely two-form entry primary school in High Wycombe, Bucks, is currently recruiting for a part-time Year 5 teacher (3 days a week) to join them in January 2026 on a long-term basis. The school can offer flexible days and is happy to accommodate any 3 days of the week.

The Role

As a Part-Time Year 5 Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Year 5 across 3 days per week (your choice of days)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to pupils' needs
  • Work collaboratively within a two-form entry year group
  • Receive additional PPA time and support from an experienced team
  • Make a positive contribution to a friendly, committed staff community

The Year 5 pupils are well-behaved, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

Requirements

To apply, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have at least one year of UK teaching experience (Year 5 or Upper KS2 experience desirable)
  • Be creative, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality learning
  • Be enthusiastic about contributing to school life and working as part of a team
