Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or Tutor looking for the next step in your career? Academics are recruiting a Community Teacher in High Wycombe to work with a small caseload of disengaged learners who require personalised, community-based educational support.

As a Community Teacher, you will work closely with young people who are not currently able to attend school, delivering tailored academic and pastoral sessions in their homes, local facilities, and community spaces. This role aims to transform lives by helping students rebuild confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and reintegrate into formal education.

• Deliver tailored academic and pastoral sessions to disengaged learners in community settings (homes, local facilities, and community spaces).
• Work with a small caseload to support personalised educational and wellbeing goals.
• Support learners to rebuild confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and reintegrate into formal education.

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Tutor and willingness to take the next step into a Community Teacher role.
• Resilient, patient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable young people.
• Strong behaviour management skills with experience working 1:1.
• Ability to adapt approach to individual needs and circumstances.
