SEN Teacher – Alternative Provision (SEMH)
High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Full-Time | Long-Term
Are you a passionate, resilient and creative Teacher who thrives on making a real difference for young people who need it most? An Alternative Provision in High Wycombe is seeking committed SEN Teachers to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a chance to work with secondary-aged learners who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The provision is dedicated to helping students re-engage with learning through tailored, meaningful and inspiring education — and they’re looking for Teachers who share that mission.
SEN Teacher
– The Role
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for secondary learners
Creating a safe, supportive and consistent learning environment
Building positive relationships that encourage confidence, resilience and progress
Working collaboratively with a skilled, nurturing team
Committing to a full-time, Monday–Friday role with long-term continuity in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
What We’re Looking For in a SEN Teacher
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching secondary-aged learners
Strong understanding of SEMH needs and trauma-informed practice
Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs
A calm, empathetic and proactive approach
Full-time availability and commitment to a long-term position
Commutable to High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
