Unqualified Teacher – Alternative Provision (SEMH)
High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Full-Time | Long-Term
Are you passionate about helping young people re-engage with learning? An Alternative Provision in High Wycombe is looking for an enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher with strong core subject knowledge to join their dedicated team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This role is ideal for someone confident, adaptable and motivated to support secondary-aged learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. If you can build trust, spark curiosity and bring learning to life, this setting will value what you bring.
Unqualified Teacher
– The Role
Delivering engaging, structured lessons across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
Supporting learners who may have experienced disrupted or negative education journeys
Creating a calm, consistent and nurturing learning environment
Building positive relationships that encourage confidence, progress and resilience
Working collaboratively with a supportive, specialist team
Committing to a full-time, Monday–Friday role with long-term continuity in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
What We’re Looking For in an Unqualified Teacher
Strong subject knowledge in core subjects
Experience supporting or teaching secondary-aged learners
Understanding of SEMH needs — or a willingness to learn
A patient, resilient and empathetic approach
Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Full-time availability and commitment to a long-term role
Commutable to High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
