Position: Part-time Tech Instructor (Must have a Car)

Computer Xplorers South Buckinghamshire is a leading provider of technology education for children, offering exciting classes in coding, robotics, digital art, and STEM subjects across the South Buckinghamshire area. Our mission is to inspire young minds and equip children aged 3 to 13 with critical 21st‑century skills through interactive and fun learning experiences. Delivered by trained instructors, our curriculum aligns with national education standards and is provided in schools, after‑school programs, camps, and workshops.

Role Description

We are seeking a Part‑time Tech Instructor to deliver technology‑focused lessons to children at various primary schools in and around High Wycombe. This on‑site role involves teaching coding, robotics, and digital skills in schools, after‑school clubs, and workshops. Responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, engaging students in hands‑on learning, and fostering an enthusiasm for technology. Reliable transportation is required, as travel between locations is part of the job.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and educational staff.
  • Experience or knowledge in educational technology, coding, robotics, or STEM‑related fields is highly desirable.
  • Organizational skills to manage the preparation of teaching materials and maintain inventory control for equipment.
  • Ability to transport and set up materials, with prior experience in shipping, receiving, or equipment handling being beneficial.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable car for traveling between teaching locations.
  • Previous experience working with children ages 3 to 13 is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young learners is essential.
