Job Introduction
This role is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with an interest in education to gain experience in this prestigious, forward-thinking and high-achieving school.
The Graduate Resident Tutor Team is vital to the running of the School, assisting with all aspects of school life including boarding duties, weekend activities, co‑curricular trips and academic lesson support.
The successful candidate will thrive in a busy and varied role. They will be strong communicators with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and remain calm under pressure. Knowledge and understanding of a boarding environment is an advantage as well as a genuine commitment to Wycombe Abbey's aims and ethos.
Contract and Hours of WorkContract: Fixed‑term contract from the beginning of August 2026 until June 2027.
Hours of work: Term‑time only, which includes all published teaching days, plus INSET and some days at the beginning and end of each School holiday. The School’s routine may vary from term to term and the post holders will be required to be flexible and to work such additional hours as may be necessary for the satisfactory fulfilment of duties. The post holders will receive the equivalent of one-and‑a‑half days off per week.
Salary and BenefitsSalary: £1,911 per month for the duration of the contract (£26,013 per annum pro‑rata), plus free onsite accommodation and meals during term time.
