Simply Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in High Wycombe from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy working with young people. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absences. You will be responsible for ensuring pupils remain engaged with the work that has been set while maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.

The Role

Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities in the absence of the classroom teacher
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work
Provide support and guidance where appropriate
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Report back to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and behaviour
Work across a range of subjects and year groups

We Are Looking For Candidates Who:

Have experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Are confident managing groups of students
Have excellent organisational skills
Are adaptable, professional, and reliable
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Have a genuine passion for supporting education

Essential Requirements

Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Previous UK school experience is desirable
Excellent classroom management skills
Right to work in the UK
