Specialist Setting | Ages 5‑11 | Autism, complex and medical needs
OverviewWe are recruiting a Nursery Teaching Assistant for a dedicated and dynamic team within a specialist provision supporting children and young people aged 5‑11 with autism and significant cognitive learning difficulties. This unique setting provides a nurturing, low‑stimulus environment designed to meet the complex needs of its learners.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored support to pupils working at an early year's developmental level, regardless of their chronological age.
Qualifications & Experience- Experience in a nursery environment or within a specialist SEN provision
- Confidence supporting children with autism and additional learning needs
- Demonstrated empathy, adaptability, and a child‑centred approach
- Commitment to helping learners overcome barriers to learning and communication
- Full‑time, long‑term position
