Position: Part-time Tech Instructor (Must have a Car)

Computer Xplorers is a leading provider of technology education for children, specializing in coding, robotics, digital art, and STEM subjects. Our mission is to spark young imaginations and help children develop essential 21st‑century skills via interactive, hands‑on learning. We offer engaging classes in schools, after‑school clubs, camps, and workshops tailored to learners aged 3 to 13. Our curriculum is aligned with national education standards and is taught by skilled, trained instructors, making technology education both fun and impactful for young minds.

Role Description

This is a part‑time, on‑site role as a Tech Instructor based in High Wycombe. The Tech Instructor will deliver engaging technology classes to children in schools, after‑school programs, and workshops. Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, using tailored curriculum materials, guiding students through hands‑on activities, and fostering a positive and inspiring learning environment. Travel between locations may be required, so a valid driver’s license and access to a car are essential for this role.

Qualifications
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and teaching staff
  • Experience in Inventory Control and basic equipment management
  • Familiarity with Shipping & Receiving processes for managing class materials and technology equipment
  • Proficiency in operating tools or machinery such as Forklift Operation is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Passionate about technology and education, with the ability to inspire and encourage children
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage schedules and materials efficiently
  • Prior experience in teaching, training, or working with children in an educational or workshop setting is beneficial
  • A full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle for travel to class locations is required
