Quantum Scholars are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a Good Ofsted-rated secondary school near High Wycombe for a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join the school from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established, supportive, and settled MFL department with a collaborative staff team and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality language teaching. The school has a positive learning environment, supportive leadership, and students who are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will be able to teach both French and Spanish, with some flexibility around the timetable. The school would welcome applications from teachers able to teach across KS3 to KS5, although there is flexibility depending on experience and subject strengths.
The position is offered on an initial one-year contract, with the potential for longer-term opportunities.
The Role
MFL Teacher (French & Spanish)
September 2026 start
Teaching French and Spanish across KS3-KS5 (some flexibility available)
Initial one-year contract
Supportive and experienced MFL department
Well-resourced classrooms and collaborative teaching environment
The Ideal Candidate
UK-trained teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
Confident teaching both French and Spanish
Ability to teach one or both languages to Key Stage 5 is advantageous
Passion for delivering engaging and inspiring language lessons
Strong classroom management and communication skills
