• Core Teaching
  
  Qualifications:
  
  Teaching qualification in QTS/QTLS or be willing to work towards it. Specialist Teaching Qualification (desirable).
• Experience:
  
  Have worked in a school environment. Particularly, experience in secondary school would be an added advantage.
• Teaching Subjects:
  English, Maths, and Science proficiency, a minimum of grade 4/C or higher.
• Knowledge:
  Have an understanding of alternative provision and dealing with students with special needs.
• Problem‑Solving:
  Aptitude for solving problems and making effective decisions.
• Communication:
  Professional communication with students and staff.
• Promotion of Values:
  Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, wellbeing, and British values.
• Time Management:
  Effective time management for planning, delivery, and assessment.

Our High Wycombe school was the first Progress Schools to open its doors in 2015. Since then we have supported 80% of year 11 pupils to progress into a positive post‑16 destination. We have provided a full‑time alternative education provision to 79 young people with challenging behaviour, students at risk of permanent exclusion, and young people with SEND.
