Job PurposeThe purpose of this role is to support teaching and learning through the delivery of modules in conjunction with the Programme Leader. Typical duties include class teaching, personal tutorial support, provision of feedback to students, coursework assessment and examination marking.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and support students by adopting a learner‑centred approach and contributing to delivery of a first‑class student experience.
- Act as a main point of contact for class teaching for one or more programmes.
- Contribute as part of the teaching team and to the wider work of the Cluster/College.
- Practice an inclusive approach and support building an inclusive university community.
- Design and prepare teaching materials within the overall module/programme framework.
- Engage in professional development activities (e.g., CPD, attendance at conferences) relating to teaching, learning and assessment.
- Maintain the high reputation of the University in practice partner settings.
- Comply with relevant legislative and other requirements (Data Protection Act 2018, GDPR, Health & Safety, UKVI, Equality & Diversity).
- Other reasonable duties as required by the Dean / Associate Dean.
- First Degree in a relevant field – Assessment: A
