We are currently recruiting for aFunctional Skills Tutorto join a programme based inHigh Wycombe.

Please note:

salary scale is £26,228 £ 32,083.00 per annum (depending on experience)

The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs into education, employment, and independence.

You will be working withlearners aged 1624 with SEND and EHCPs, supporting them to develop their Maths, English, and employability skills in a practical, real-world context.

The role combinesFunctional Skills delivery with job coaching, making it a great fit for someone with strengths in either (or both). Each morning, you will typically delivershort, focused Functional Skills sessions(Entry Level to Level
2) in small groups, helping learners build confidence and achieve recognised qualifications.

Following this, learners attendlocal work placements(such as retail and hospitality settings), where you will support them in developing workplace skills, confidence, and independence. Learners return later in the day to reflect on their experiences, providing further opportunities for coaching and support.

Delivery is a mix ofgroup sessions and 1:1 support, both face-to-face and occasionally remote, with a strong emphasis on adapting learning to meet individual needs.
