Are you a passionate and dedicated SENCO Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SENCO Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive the support they need to achieve their full academic, social, and personal potential.

• Lead and coordinate the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the school.
• Identify pupils with additional needs and ensure appropriate support, interventions, and strategies are implemented.
• Develop, review, and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and SEND support plans.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality, inclusive teaching for all pupils.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to colleagues on SEND strategies and best practice.
• Liaise effectively with parents, carers, external agencies, and local authority professionals to support pupil progress.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND provision, using data to inform planning and interventions.
• Support pupils with emotional, behavioural, communication, and learning needs, promoting inclusion and positive outcomes.
• Ensure the school remains compliant with the SEND Code of Practice and relevant statutory guidance.
• Promote safeguarding and ensure all safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all times.

• A thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, EHCP processes, and inclusive education.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and external professionals.
• A proactive, compassionate, and solution-focused approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
