Are you an ambitious and supportive EYFS Learning Assistant?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reflective and committed EYFS Learning Assistant who understands the importance of the foundation years in providing children with the building blocks they need to succeed in life.

This is an exciting opportunity to be an EYFS Learning Assistant at our wonderful school, helping to nurture our school’s youngest children and support them to develop a lifetime love of learning.

You will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years Leader as part of this ambitious team committed to achieving the very best at all times.

About you:
  • Reflective and committed to your own development
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills that will help to maintain positive relationships with all staff, parents and the community
  • High expectations for all children and determination to support children with their learning and behaviour
  • Ability to help the class teacher monitor learning and progress through various strategies, including short and long observations
  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • Finally, a good sense of humour and an understanding that no two days are ever the same!

This is a full-time post. Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm.

Salary dependent on qualifications
