Do you have a Level 3 qualification or higher in a Health or Science related subject? Are you looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated, and forward-thinking individual as a Lecturer – Health and Science.
Working at our Wycombe Campus, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students across a range of Health and Science programmes, helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to progress into higher education or employment. The candidate will have experience of delivering biology, chemistry and physics up to level 2.
As a Lecturer – Health and Science, the successful candidate will:
- Have the ability to plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment schedules that engage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Carry out practical experiments linking to the specification, to support learners to achieve their qualification.
- Plan and deliver highly effective learning programmes for diverse groups of learners in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, ensuring students are challenged and inspired to succeed.
- Support students' academic, personal, and professional development, working creatively to overcome individual barriers to learning both within and outside of the classroom.
- Bring relevant vocational or industry knowledge to enhance teaching and learning, ensuring programmes remain current, engaging, and aligned with sector expectations.
- Monitor student progress effectively and provide timely feedback and interventions to support achievement, retention, and progression.
- Contribute to the continued development of the curriculum and play an active role in maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, assessment, and student experience across the Health and Science provision.
