The role

Wycombe Abbey seeks an inspiring and enthusiastic Teacher of Psychology to join its Sixth Form on a part-time or full-time maternity cover contract. This is an opportunity to teach Psychology in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment, engaging pupils across a range of abilities and preparing them for success at A level and beyond, including university applications.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, challenging lessons that foster curiosity, independent thinking and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent classroom practice in Psychology to Sixth Form students.
  • Contribute to a thriving academic department and the wider life of the School.
  • Support co-curricular activities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Strong subject knowledge in Psychology.
  • Excellent communication skills.
