Head of Religious Studies

Holmer Green is a popular 11 to 18 school with 1200+ students (200+ in the Sixth Form) and is expanding.

We have a range of new modern facilities including a new teaching block, dining hall, reception area and sports hall. We offer 8 staff training days (not the 5 you find in most schools), a two-week October half term and professional development of a high standard. We take our staff well-being seriously and offer weekly activities, like team sports and a brand new fitness suite.

Holmer Green Senior School is offering an exceptional opportunity to lead the Religious Studies Department delivering Religious Studies as a core GCSE to all students, and at A Level where it is a popular subject. We are looking for an excellent leader who is ambitious for all our students, is passionate about Religious Studies and who would welcome the chance to flourish in a dynamic area.

Applications are sought from high calibre professionals who have the skills and talent to continue to develop the department and work as part of our committed team.

If you are committed to making a difference and want to join a school that values hard work, kindness, and passion for education, we would love to hear from you.
