Our client is a technology driven cloud native service provider. They are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer is responsible and accountable for the smooth running of their Red Hat orientated technology stack.

• RHEL/Red Hat Linux Servers
• MySQL, MSSQL and Postgres databases.
• iSCSI SAN Technologies.
• Xenserver Clustered virtualized environment.
• Experience in Firewall configuration and management.
• Solid experience in network configuration and management.
• System monitoring.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
• Microsoft AD and Remote Desktop Services (W2019).
• Experience of Power Shell/Bash Scripting (Bash, Korn, C, Shell, etc).

• M365/MS Exchange
• Container based infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes).
• IP Based phone system.
• Linux certifications
• Experience of Cloud based environments (AWS/M365)
• Dell server hardware

• Maintain the company's DR infrastructure.
• Monitoring of key systems to ensure availability and capacity requirements are met.
• Be responsible for the scheduling and prioritisation of I&O tasks.
• Work closely with the senior management team to develop, implement and coordinate systems and procedures.
• Ensure systems and procedures conform to the company security policies.
• Audit systems to identify problematic areas.
• Ensure systems are available to meet company SLAs.
• Be available to troubleshoot/rectify any issues.

• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of Linux hardware/software systems.
• ITIL experience.
• Team focused; motivated; innovative; diligent.
